The Certificate Renewal cum Change to Approval Visit ( Upgrading to ISO9001: 2008) was scheduled on 18 – 23 June 2009

As scheduled on 18 June the opening meeting was held at Conference Room, Roadcare (M) Sdn. Bhd. Kampong Pandan led by its Deputy General Manager, Pn. Nafisah Abd Aziz and QA/QC Executive/AQMR, En. Sancilan Raman and Mr. N. C. Lee, the auditor, from Lloyds Auditing Company attended the meeting.

The opening meeting was indeed very short and was successfully concluded since all issues raised during the previous meeting have been complied with earlier. There were non-conformance issues.

Just after the opening meeting, the audit assessment began in earnest starting off with the  “Management System” at Roadcare followed by its Engineering Department on the “ Concession / contract review and QMS System ” procedures.

When the above was finalized, the team comprising of Pn. Nafisah Abd Aziz, En Abdul Rashid Bin Halim, En Sancilan Raman, Mr. N.C. Lee and En Shahrul Nizam, drove to Bentong on 19 June 2009, as part of their audit coverage to assess “ Review of Routine Maintenance Sub-Con Daily Report, Visit to routine maintenance work site, Review if Periodic maintenance report” processes there and came up with no non-conformance issues.

On 20 June 2009, the same team took a flight to Kuala Terenggnau en-route to Kerteh to audit “ Routine maintenance, monitoring planning, JKR HDM4-List of project 2009” of their compliances. They returned the very day with great relief since there were no non-conformance issues.

At the closing and final meeting with Pn. Nafisah Abd Aziz, En Sancilan Raman and Mr. N.C. Lee, the external auditor confirmed that all aspects of the audit coverage was is order and therefore, the ISO Certificte for Roadcare (M) Sdn. Bhd. was renewed and upgraded from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001: 2008.
