Developing CIPR Manual on Road Standard

Roadcare (M) Sdn.Bhd, its parent company, HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd and Kumpulan Ikram Sdn Bhd are currently involved in a joint research with JKR on Cold in Place Recycling (CIPR) of pavements. CIPR is a type of pavement rehabilitation method which is economical, environmentally friendly and sustainable. HCM Engineering and Kumpulan Ikram are wholly-owned subsidiaries of listed Protasco Bhd.

Emergency Works - Lojing

18 December 2008 - After receiveing a call from Public Works Department (JKR) Gua Musang at 4 pm on 14 December, 2008, regarding a landslide which was reported by police patrol car, Roadcare Team Leader and staff at Gua Musang immediately rushed to the location, i.e section 64, 65 and 66, route FT185B, Jalan Lojing - Pos Blau - Kuala Betis.

They brought operational equipment such as road signage, beacon light, barrier, baton light, blinker and cone with them. Technical Executive, En. Aziz Mat Awin, Supervisor En. Wan Azmi and Junior Supervisor, En. Shukri arrived not long after. Road signages were installed and traffic management was undertaken amid heavy rain, strong wind, cold temperature (14 degrees C) and darkness.
